About RAYDHA




Introduction:

"Rumah Anak Yatim dan Hidayah Al Hijrah" or its abbreviation RAYDHA a placement to approximately 30 children. The house located in Jalan Felcra Semungkis, Rantau Panjang, Hulu Langat, Selangor, children in RAYDHA are mostly orphans or children who came from poor family, known as "anak hidayah" and children send from the Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM). Although faced with a heartbreaking tragedy on May 21, 2011, the lives of children living in RAYDHA should be continued, they need an attention and care as children their own age, especially in education. Even RAYDHA agrees that science and education is a gem that should be polished and the responsibility to the public to disclose the jewels  has become a liability to RAYDHA to plan annual academic programs for these children in line with the objective to realize an asset for the future of this country.

Background:

Children in RAYDHA aged between 7 and 17 years. They attended secondary school and primary school under the government in the nearest area. Most of the children in RAYDHA attended school during morning session except for form 1 and form 2 which attended school for the evening session. The children who attended morning school session will attend preparetory class during evening while the children who attended evening school session will be having their prep class in the morning. This prep class actually a time given for the children to complete their school works including projects. As well as to do some revision regarding their subjects in school under the provision of the wardens and RAYDHA's volunteers. the tuition classes are held during nighttime which operate by volunteering tutors from experienced teachers and professionals in many fields. Until now RAYDHA have nine registered tutors. During this hour, these children will be fully guided especially to learn, to understand and to prepare themselves for the upcoming examinations. The tuition classes were divided to five classes which categorise according to their school levels and it has been held for several years. Until now, one of the RAYDHA's children have further his studies in Vocational College while another two successfully furthering their studies in University Kebangsaan Malaysia and University Al-Azhar, Mesir. 

Objectives and Goals RAYDHA

1. Providing shelter and provide spiritual and physical education for the orphans and 'anak-anak hidayah' (low ability / distressed) .

2. Guiding and improving the performance of children's academically, social economy and living standards.

3. Promote and encourage education, training and guidance for these children in all areas of skills and knowledge.

4. Sponsors and lead these children towards efforts to serve the genuine sense of responsibility and sincerity.

5. Encourage the children to move towards a perfect life based on self-respect and self-reliance properties and disciplined.
